These are the things which we should be working on during the week from August 13th to August 19th. This summer we will be going through the book The Cross-Centered Life by CJ Mahaney.

Scripture memory: We are going through the Scripture memory system Treasuring God’s Truth in Your Heart. The 23rd-28th verses look at six aspects of Scripture. This week (verse 28) we are affirming the clarity of Scripture:

And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. (Deuteronomy 4:12)

Scripture memory: We are going through the Scripture memory system Treasuring God’s Truth in Your Heart. The 23rd-28th verses look at six aspects of Scripture. This week (verse 27) we are affirming the power of Scripture:

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

Scripture memory: We are going through the Scripture memory system Treasuring God’s Truth in Your Heart. The 23rd-28th verses look at six aspects of Scripture. This week (verse 26) we are affirming the purity of Scripture:

The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. (Psalm 12:6)

Scripture memory: We are starting to go through the Scripture memory system Treasuring God’s Truth in Your Heart. The 19th-21st verses look at Jesus’ three heavenly roles. This week we are declaring that Christ is King:

Which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.   And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church.’” (Ephesians 1.20-22)

These are the things which we should be working on during the week from June 25th to July 1st. This summer we will be going through the book The Cross-Centered Life by CJ Mahaney.  We will start from chapter 1 beginning the week of July 2nd to July 8th.

Scripture memory: We are starting to go through the Scripture memory system Treasuring God’s Truth in Your Heart. The 19th-21st verses look at Jesus’ three heavenly roles. This week we are declaring that Christ is Priest:

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4.15-16)

These are the things which we should be working on during the week from June 11th to June 17th. This summer we will be going through the book The Cross-Centered Life by CJ Mahaney.

Scripture memory: We are starting to go through the Scripture memory system Treasuring God’s Truth in Your Heart. The first 18 verses in this system deal with attributes of God. This week we will be looking at God as Trinity:

When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’” (Matthew 3.16-17)
